Welcome! This is the 6th or so incarnation of the METSONET.CO.UK site. I hope to keep it somewhat more up to date than previous versions. However, I'm a busy man these days so it might well fester some more!
To try and have some kind of dynamic content I've set up a blog which you can see to the right of this text. It loads from blogspot if you would like to see it directly. It uses the new-ish blogger templates, which is nice. The blog is likely to be the most up-to-date part of the web page, at least in the near future. You can also stalk me on myspace now.
These days I am a Research Associate in the Physics dept. of Bristol University. I work on the CMS detector, currently being commissioned at CERN.
It's been a good week at FNAL, I think we've got a lot done despite some bad news re effort available for our group. Got some cool t shirts too.
But now I'm tired and feeling a bit fluey, very glad to be heading home tomorrow afternoon, despite Sarah and Daves awesome hospitality!
